We are steps4malawi, an American non profit supporting programs in Malawi, Africa. ALL proceeds from the Moyo Coffee shop go directly to programs on the ground in Malawi, 100%. The Primary native language in Malawi is Chichewa. In Chichewa, MOYO means life. By buying our products you directly support life improvement in one of the poorest countries of the world. We support widows, orphans, and mothers having difficulty breast feeding with nutrition. We also assist with medical, and other quality of life issues. We currently sponsor 10 children in private school and address other needs as they arise. We are in the Phalombe District of Malawi close to Mozambique. Our Project is called Hummingbird Farm, addressing wellness, providing prayer. We are instituting milk goats for milk and cheese, and soon we will be teaching soil regeneration and other permaculture techniques. We are here to serve and love others in the manner of Jesus. My Wife and I moved here 7 years ago from Ashland, Oregon .
